Charlie's resume for service is impressive. He's a longtime veteran who served in Vietnam and the Gulf. And he's worked for years at the local Police Department. Charlie's son will soon be depolyed for his fifth rotation in Iraq with the Air Force.

Charlie Brown opposed the War in Iraq when it was the hardest to do so - at the beginning. He did it because he thought it was the right thing for America. We need this kind of principled leadership in Congress, so we can end this war and restore America's credibility throughout the world.

Charlie, who is running as a Democrat, wants to create a "results caucus" in Congress - one that reaches beyond party lines and solves the problems facing our country.

He's not interested in towing the party line or taking orders from the special interests. He wants to move America in a new, independent direction. One that bridges the old divisions and empowers ordinary Americans to decide the future of their country together.
